You can read my book of stories,
Sleeping Funny (Doubleday Canada, 2012), which won the City of Hamilton Book Award. One of the stories in it, “Petitions to Saint Chronic”, won the McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize.

My novel, Discretion, has been sold to Knopf Canada.

When I’m not rewriting my too-epic novel, I’m often storytelling in other forms. Currently, I’m playing with essays and a couple of scripts.

I love to interview! Highlights include Emma Donoghue (Book Drunkard), Meg Wolitzer (Writers at Woody Point), and Ojibwe author and journalist Tanya Talaga (The Fold Festival of Literary Diversity). I generally accept opportunities to give talks, when the world allows it.
